Stability Tunnel
(L-32201): This set of blades in the Stability Tunnel’s swirl test section rotated to impart a helical swirl to the flow. In this test an experimental Douglas D-558-2 Skyrocket is being studied for roll behavior as it glides to an unpowered, or “dead stick” landing.
